The FOG has distinct characters comparing to traditional gyrocompass: Autonomous north seeking within 30min in all conditions, free of annual maintenance、its optical sphere having long life、with high performance on following feature and high accuracy. It has been widely applied onboard the navy ships、coastguard ships、government ships、merchant ships; it has been installed by us for several owners on their bulk vessels/container vessels/law enforcement ships. It could replace the traditional gyrocompass in the coming 10 years.
- the GOE Electronic Clinometer is a digital clinometer with high sensitivity. IMO is to mandatorily adopt the electronic clinometer’s application from 2026 for newly built bulk vessels and container vessels.
